Music Festival Internship Photography

Through the University of South Carolina's music industry studies program, I interned with The Music Experience or TME. TME is a tent that travels to different music festivals nationwide to create immersive music experiences for festival-goers. My job was to market the tent to attendees and collaborate on set-up for the tent experience. During my time at the festival, I also exercised my photography skills and took pictures and videos of the performers and people. TME and my experience at Rockville helped me develop my photography and leadership skills and fueled my passion for music and media.

During Summer 2025, I then got to serve as a Fan Experience Intern for the festival production company, Danny Wimmer Presents. I worked at Rockville, Sonic Temple, and Bourbon & Beyond. Assisted the Fan Experience & Guest Services departments in building and overseeing the VIP & Super VIP areas of the festival and helped with other departments as needed.At Bourbon & Beyond, I worked at the Workshop Stage where there were food and drink demonstrations from world-renowned chefs and musicians. I was responsible for transporting people and supplies as well as preparing the backstage areas each day (green room, kitchen, bathrooms, etc). Additionally, I shadowed the content and marketing team members to grow my concert photography skills and see what goes into the branding of these music festivals with multiple genres. Rockville had a record breaking number of over 200,000 attendees across the festival making it the largest rock festival in North America. Bourbon & Beyond also won the Pollstar 2024 Global Music Festival of the Year.
